Tip of the week: Do not play when you are tired
If you think that stopping at the casino on the way home from work is a good idea or that you can log in to your virtual account for some down time, you need to consider that you are more likely to lose money when you are tired. It’s not enough to know how to play the game and all the rules; you also have to be alert and mentally sharp in order to win.
One of the most important parts of playing any casino game is the ability to make good decisions. If you are playing games of luck, you need to know when to stop or when to change your bet. If you are playing strategic games, you have to be mentally focused to make the right calls. However, if it has been a long day at work and you are tired, you are not going to be on your game. You might think that you need a few hours at the table; however, when you go home with an empty wallet you will quickly see that you should have went home and played free games if you really needed to unwind and a game was what you wanted.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that when you are tire and you add that free drink the casino gives you to the mix, you are simply making yourself even less alert than you were when you walked in the door. Alcohol only adds to your bad judgment and you will more than likely lose even more money.
